At Renttalz, we strive to provide reliable equipment and a seamless rental experience. We understand that plans can change, so we have established a clear and fair cancellation and refund policy to govern reservations, deposits, and service changes.
Full Refund Window: Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled rental pickup or delivery time are eligible for a 100% full refund of any prepaid rental fees.
Release of Authorization Holds: For orders where a security deposit authorization hold was placed on your card or PayPal account, a full cancellation will trigger an immediate void/release of that hold. Please note that while Renttalz releases the hold instantly, it may take 3 to 5 business days for your bank or card issuer to reflect the restored balance.
Cancellations requested within 24 hours of the scheduled fulfillment time—or failure to pick up the equipment on the scheduled day without prior notice—are subject to a late cancellation fee equivalent to one day's rental rate. Any remaining prepaid balance beyond that one-day fee will be refunded.
If you need to change your rental dates or swap out equipment items, you must notify us at least 24 hours before your fulfillment time. Modifications are subject to inventory availability. If a modification results in a lower total rental cost, the price difference will be refunded according to our standard cancellation terms.
Returning equipment before your agreed-upon rental period ends does not entitle you to a partial refund, credit, or prorated discount for the unused days, unless explicitly pre-approved by Renttalz management.
Security deposits collected via PayPal authorization holds are never charged to your account unless damage, loss, or late return fees occur.
Standard Return: When equipment is returned on time and in its original, undamaged condition, the security deposit hold is completely voided with zero processing fees deducted.
Partial Deductions: If minor damage or missing accessories are noted during inspection, a partial capture is executed to cover repair/replacement costs, and the remaining balance of the hold is instantly voided.
In the event of severe weather warnings, local natural disasters, or other unforeseeable force majeure events that prevent safe equipment pickup, delivery, or operation, Renttalz reserves the right to waive late cancellation penalties and offer a full refund or a flexible reservation reschedule.
